To convert an existing, under-utilized, and declining building into a multipurpose facility.
Project Description
This project proposes to completely renovate an existing building that previously housed the Pender County Rescue Squad. This project consists of a complete removal of all internal components, structures, and appliances and leaving the remaining shell structure. The front addition to the current building creating an "L" shape of the building will also be removed and a new structure will be added to the existing front line of the building for the full length of the existing building. All new walls, floors, ceilings, roof, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and appliances will installed. The entire exterior of the building will have a new, brick façade.

Large Meeting/Event Room (max occupancy 263 people)
Disaster Response and Recovery Center (includes commercial kitchen & showers)
